The value for money at Beachcomber was excellent. The nice furniture, clean, and had all the amenities one could ask for. The location overlooking the harbour was fine. The staff, especially Michelle, were friendly, accommodating, and quick to respond to any questions or requests.

The morning meal could have been improved with a wider selection of breakfast options.

We recently stayed at a peaceful and quiet location, perfect for unwinding and switching off. Our host, Michelle, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. the house was beautifully decorated in a nautical style and had everything we needed, from a well-equipped kitchen to luxurious dressing gowns and slippers. Michelle even provided a welcome hamper with tea, coffee, jams, and a loaf of bread. We were also impressed by the efficiency of the wall heaters on chilly evenings. Michelle's attention to detail and thoughtfulness truly made it a home away from home experience. We highly recommend Beachcomber as a great base to explore the region. Cons: Not one thing! 🌟.

Stayed in a super fancy place by the sea. Free parking and Wi-Fi, plus a terrace! I even saw people snorkeling and cycling nearby. Oh, and I had a lovely balcony too. Towels were a nice touch.

Had to leave, what a shame! Couldn't stay forever in this paradise.

The Beachcomber in Garlieston is a cozy little escape from the hustle and bustle. The room was like a home away from home, with a comfy sofa to lounge on after a day of exploring. The fully equipped kitchen made it easy to whip up my own meals whenever I felt like it. And let's not forget the two bathrooms! Such a treat to have my own private space to freshen up in the morning.

Honestly, I'm just not a fan of the microwave in the kitchen. It's not a deal breaker by any means, but I prefer cooking with a stove.

The best part about our stay was the attention to detail. The house was beautifully decorated, with lovely furniture and decorations in every area. It felt like a home away from home. the host, Michelle, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. She left us a welcome hamper with treats like Prosecco and shortbread cookies, and even provided essentials like bread, butter, and milk. Another great aspect was the location, with a short walk to the beach and a fantastic local pub nearby with amazing food.

The lack of a local shop for provisions. While Michelle kindly advised us to visit a nearby supermarket in Newton Stewart, it would have been more convenient to have a shop within walking distance.

The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
